Wnt4 affects the proliferation of chicken granulosa cells and the synthesis of steroids [54], while Wnt6 enhances the sensitivity of chicken follicle stimulating hormone receptors to follicle stimulating hormone [55]; Wnt2, Wnt3, Wnt5a, and Wnt11 play important roles in the pathogenesis of rectal cancer and are expected to become therapeutic targets for rectal cancer [56]. Here, WNT2 is linked to rectal cancer.
