USP11 has also been implicated in the proliferationof triple negativebreast cancer cells. Evaluation of theantiproliferative activity of compound 2 on the MDA-MB-231cell line (used as model for triple negative breast cancer) indicatedthat compound 2 exhibited significant cytotoxicity towardMDA-MB-231 cells at 1.25 μM, reducing overall cell viabilityto ∼16% and nearly completely inhibiting viability at higherconcentrations. This evidence concerns the gene USP11 and triple-negative breast carcinoma.
