NR3C1 and myasthenia gravis: Previous studies have shown that tacrolimus can improve clinical symptoms in patients with MG, and the exact mechanism remains unclear, though it may involve one or more of its immunomodulatory functions, such as the regulation of ryanodine receptor/calcium release channels in the sarcoplasmic reticulum and the increase in the transport of glucocorticoid receptors from the sarcoplasmic reticulum to the nucleus, which may be responsible for the observed therapeutic effects (18, 19).
