Although previous studies have shown that responses to pyrotinib were observed across different HER2 mutation subtypes—including both exon 20 and non-exon 20 variants—with disease control rates (DCR) ranging from 81.8% to 100% (6), emerging evidence suggests that the sensitivity of HER2-mutant NSCLC to pyrotinib may vary depending on the specific mutation subtype. Here, ERBB2 is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
