We aimed to present hereby a compellingand comprehensive study on the synthesis and characterization of novelpeptide-linked optical imaging probes targeting the known gastrin-releasingpeptide receptor (GRPR) in cancer cells by exploring the optical propertiesof the as-prepared biomaterials and unravelling their tunability,water solubility, self-assembly, and aggregation behavior in solutionsand in thin film. This evidence concerns the gene GRPR and cancer.
