The genomic category of the tumors differed significantly in the 2 groups, with the group with ELF3/HNF4A up-regulation having mostly chromosomally unstable (CIN) tumors (80.4%), while in the group without ELF3/HNF4A up-regulation, about 40% of cases each were CIN and genomically stable (GS, Table 3). The gene discussed is HNF4A; the disease is cervical squamous intraepithelial neoplasia.
