CRP and polyarticular arthritis: The mother of P1 (P2), now 69 years old, was healthy until the age of 60 years, when she presented polyarthritis of the hands, wrists, and knees associated with bilateral inflammatory plantar talalgia, fever up to 39°C, pustular eruptions on the legs, and high levels of acute-phase reactants (CRP concentration = 90 mg/liter).
