Our study aimed to determine changes in coagulation profiles in bitches with pyometra based on routine coagulation tests and measurement of antithrombin (AT), d-dimers (DD), tissue factor (TF), plasminogen (PLG), tissue plasminogen activator inhibitor 1 (TPA-1), and thromboelastography analyses, and to assess the incidence of DIC in bitches with pyometra. This evidence concerns the gene OGFOD1 and pyometritis.
