Importantly, while earlier reports have established FOSL1's involvement in various malignancies including cholangiocarcinoma [43] and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma [44], and documented correlations between PRMT1 expression and unfavorable GBM outcomes [45–48], the conceptual advances presented here still await rigorous translational validation.
