Among the 77 patients enrolled in this study, the most commonly reported adverse effects during treatment with PEG-IFN α-2b and TMF were fever (64.9%, 50/77), fatigue (51.9%, 40/77), rash (19.5%, 15/77), and alopecia (19.5%, 15/77). The gene discussed is IFNA1; the disease is alopecia.
