Furthermore, in additional primary/immortalized cervical cancer cells (pCCa-2, pCCa-3, and HeLa), the establishment of stable SLC30A9 knockdown using the shSLC30A9-S2-expressing lentiviral vector (as illustrated in Fig. 3) similarly led to Caspase-3 activation (Fig. S4A) and an augmented number of TUNEL-positive nuclei (Fig. S4B), thus corroborating the induction of apoptosis. This evidence concerns the gene SLC30A9 and cervical cancer.
