In folic acid (FA)-induced acute kidney injury (AKI) in mice, DAPA injection improved renal tissue integrity, as evidenced by reduced glomerular tuft atrophy and necrosis accompanied by decreased interstitial inflammatory cell infiltration, ameliorated tubular dilation and necrosis, as well as diminished CD86-positive cell infiltration and lower fibrosis percentage. This evidence concerns the gene CD86 and acute kidney injury.
