To mitigate long-term p400 loss adaptation, acute perturbations reproduced the core phenotype: doxycycline-inducible shRNA in Jurkat cells (48–72 h) and siRNA in primary CD4+ T cells (48–72 h) yielded a significant increase in viral infection or transcription activation (Figs 1F–G and 2C).
