This study hypothesized that epigenetic processes, including DNA methylation, influence the expression of identified CG or testis-specific genes, such as SYCP1, ADAD1, SYCE1, PRSS54, DMRTC2, and TEX101, in breast cancer (BC), normal breast (NB), and chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) cell lines. Here, TEX101 is linked to chronic myelogenous leukemia, BCR-ABL1 positive.
