We speculate that the effective reason for this treatment is that it can relieve the symptoms of nasal congestion and rhinorrhea by temporarily blocking parasympathetic nerve conduction, reducing the release of acetylcholine, inhibiting vasodilatation and gland secretion, and regulating the release of neuropeptides: inhibiting the release of pro‐inflammatory neuropeptides such as substance P and calcitonin gene‐related peptide, and reducing neurogenic inflammation. The gene discussed is TAC1; the disease is Nasal congestion.
