Indeed, combining the results of previous studies and the present study, we found that the correlation between the expression of p-Jak2 and the expression of IL-6 was not strong during PmA infection (especially 8 h post-infection), suggesting that PmA may impair IL-6–Jak2 signaling, thereby inhibiting the activation of Th17 cell/IL-17A and achieving immune escape. The gene discussed is JAK2; the disease is infection.
