I read with great interest the recent article by Guzonjić et al., which examined leukocyte telomere length (LTL) and paraoxonase-1 (PON1) activity in patients with small-cell lung cancer (SCLC), providing insights into their prognostic significance using Kaplan–Meier and Cox regression models (1). This evidence concerns the gene PON1 and small cell lung carcinoma.
