In the CA1, there was a physiological increase in MBP and MOG expression from 2 to 6 months in WT (Fig. 4 A,B,C, MBP, p=0.0004; MOG, p=0.0034), cKO (MBP p=0.0003; MOG, p=0.0044), AD (MBP, p=0.0047; MOG, p=0.0003) and AD/cKO (MBP, p=0.0001; MOG, p<0.0001) with stable levels at 12 and 16 months of age (Fig. 4A, B, C). Here, MBP is linked to Alzheimer disease.
