CRP and pericardial effusion: All other parameters, such as the levels of fibrinogen, low-density lipoprotein, cholesterol, c-reactive protein (CRP), high attenuation area, pericardial effusion blood, calcification of ascending aorta, calcification of descending aorta, sex, as well as the history of hypertension, diabetes, and smoking were comparable in the two groups (P>0.05) (Table-I).
