Only studies in humans that used CAR therapy in any of its forms in patients with autoimmune neurological disorders (including multiple sclerosis (MS), neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder, myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease, myasthenia gravis (MG), Lambert–Eaton myasthenic syndrome, stiff-person syndrome, autoimmune peripheral neuropathies, and autoimmune encephalitis) were included. This evidence concerns the gene OMG and myasthenia gravis.
