To determine whether HIV-1 infection induces changes in APA and transcriptional reprogramming through recruitment of CPSF6 to capsid cores in a more physiologically relevant cell type, we next challenged primary CD4+ T cells from 3 independent donors with HIV-1 NL4-3 nef:IRES:GFP encoding either a WT or N74D mutant capsid. This evidence concerns the gene S100B and HIV-1 infection.
