CRP and congestive heart failure: Additional findings from a study on valsartan in chronic heart failure indicate that Alb, glomerular filtration rate, and diastolic blood pressure positively correlate with increases in Hb levels, whereas C-reactive protein (CRP), left ventricular ejection fraction, B-type natriuretic peptide, and valsartan inversely correlate with Hb level changes over 12 months.
