In CD20+ B-cell lymphomas, anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies eliminate B-cells through at least four distinct mechanisms (26): (1) direct cell death, (2) antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC), (3) phagocytosis, and (4) complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC).
