The results showed that ELOVL2 overexpression inhibited the proliferation of HER2-positive breast cancer cells by inhibiting the PI3K-AKT pathway, suggesting that ELOVL2 is a potential target gene for the treatment of patients with HER2-positive breast cancer, laying the foundation for targeted therapy and improving the clinical adaptability of this model.
