In this study, we demonstrated the important role of protein arginine methyltransferase 1 (PRMT1) in promoting chemoresistance in small cell lung cancer (SCLC) by reinforcing cancer stemness through the PRMT1-SOX2 signaling pathway, suggesting PRMT1 as a promising target for reversing stemness (Fig. 1A). This evidence concerns the gene PRMT1 and small cell lung carcinoma.
