NFKB1 and gastritis: In vivo experiments have demonstrated that extracts of sea buckthorn flavonoids can ameliorate H. pylori-induced gastritis in mice through multiple mechanisms, including inhibition of the NF-κB signaling pathway, down-regulation of GAS17 to suppress gastric acid secretion, up-regulation of EGF to promote gastric mucosal regeneration, and modulation of the gastric microbiota.
