IL33 and carcinoma: A previous study demonstrated abundant IL-33 expression in the nuclei of CD31 or von-Willebrand factor-positive endothelial cells from blood vessels in various adenocarcinomas [14], while another report by Küchler et al. noted that nuclear IL-33 is expressed in healthy tissue blood vessels but is absent in vessel endothelial cells of various human carcinomas, including colon, mammary gland, kidney and lung [15].
