In May 2024, he underwent a left upper lobectomy for stage IIIA (pT2N2) lung adenocarcinoma characterized by a Ki-67 index of 20–25%, PD-L1 expression of 10%, and mutations in Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog (KRAS) (exon 2), serine/threonine kinase 11 (STK11), and tumor protein 53 (TP53). This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and lung adenocarcinoma.
