Consequently, DHODH inhibitors such as brequinar, leflunomide, and novel derivatives have been revisited as potential anticancer agents capable of inducing ferroptosis and overcoming drug resistance in malignancies such as glioblastoma, neuroblastoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, colorectal cancer, and triple-negative breast cancer [13,14,15,16,17]. This evidence concerns the gene DHODH and neuroblastoma.
