Conjoint analysis revealed that genes involved in glycolysis (HK, pfkA, PFK, ALDO, gapN (NADP+)) and acetyl-CoA biosynthesis (DLAT, aceF, pdhC, aceE, paaF, GCDH, gcdH, fadB) were upregulated in the CRC groups. This evidence concerns the gene ACHE and colorectal carcinoma.
