CTNNB1 and Intellectual disability: CTNNB1, a protein known to be implicated in the formation of cadherin/catenin multiprotein complex, has additionally been reported to underlie severe intellectual disability in the case of a Chinese woman, interestingly having inherited the variant from her mother with slighter clinical presentations, highlighting the role of Cadherin‐associated proteins besides Cadherins in neurodevelopmental processes [14].
