Specifically, we (1) summarize its molecular structure and regulatory network; (2) delineate its roles in cancer progression and therapy resistance; (3) integrate emerging evidence from non-neoplastic disorders to broaden the clinical relevance of KIF4A; (4) evaluate its diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic potential; and (5) highlight unanswered questions and future directions, including delivery strategies and context-dependent biology.
