ssDNA exposure (RPA foci), translesion synthesis (RAD18 foci), and Fanconi Anaemia pathway activation (FANCD2) were all induced in DLD-1 WT, DLD-1 BRCA2KO, and SUM149PT cells (Fig. 4A and Supplementary Fig. S4B), indicative of replication perturbation and invocation of replication fork recovery mechanisms. Here, FANCD2 is linked to Fanconi anemia.
