In ATG7-deficient cells, heightened levels of GAPLINC (gastric adenocarcinoma predictive long intergenic noncoding RNA) counteract the amplified IRF3 activation stemming from ATG7 absence, whereas GAPLINC reduction in ATG7-elevated cells mitigates the suppressive action of augmented ATG7 against IFN synthesis. Here, ATG7 is linked to gastric adenocarcinoma.
