GLA and Parkinson disease: We found that in SN samples of patients with PD, the expression of GBA1 (log2FC −0.27; 95% CI −0.50 to −0.04, P = 0.023; Fig. 4B), GLB1 (log2FC −0.28; 95% CI −0.71 to −0.15, P = 0.019; Fig. 4C), GLA (log2FC −0.47; 95% CI −0.71 to −0.24, P < 0.001; Fig. 4D), HEXA (log2FC −0.43; 95% CI −0.72 to −0.14, P = 0.004; Fig. 4E), and CERS6 (log2FC −0.51; 95% CI v0.79 to −0.23, P < 0.001; Fig. 4L) was significantly reduced.
