These included: (1) PEO1, an ovarian cancer-derived cell line, and its isogenic derivatives resistant to cisplatin, either with (PEO4; C4-02) or without BRCA2 reversion mutation (25); and (2) CAPAN-1, a pancreatic cancer-derived cell line, along with its cisplatin-resistant clones due to either BRCA2 reversion mutations (C2–05 and C2-13) or other mechanisms (C2-08) (13). This evidence concerns the gene BRCA2 and ovarian carcinoma.
