TP53 and nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma: To unveil the underlying mechanism of how MAOB affects ccRCC proliferation and growth, comprehensive studies were performed, and the data indicated that MAOB suppressed ccRCC cell growth by inducing ROS-mediated DNA damage, subsequently enhancing the stability and transcriptional activity of p53, which caused G1 cell-cycle arrest, mitochondrial apoptosis, and lipid peroxidation-triggered ferroptosis.
