The administration of chrysin treatment substantially mitigated different types of cognitive impairments in mice with hypothyroidism, reinstating their cognitive adaptability and elevating the levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), Tyrosine kinase B, and cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) response element binding protein (CREB) linked to the BDNF/tropomyosin-related kinase B/CREB signaling pathway (90). Here, BDNF is linked to hypothyroidism.
