CAV2 and neoplasm: To assess the effect of glial Cav2 on tumor cell OXPHOS, we crossed mTmG mice with Adv-Cre mice to obtain mTmG+/-; Adv-Cre mice, and then crossed these mice with Cav2+/- mice to generate mTmG+/-; Adv-Cre; Cav2+/- mice (as both mTmG and Cav2 are located on chromosome 6, we could only obtain heterozygous Cav2 mice).
