For TP53 (PDB: 4mzi), ferulic acid established two hydrogen bonds (Arg248, Ser241) and three hydrophobic contacts (Phe134, Val143, Leu145), showing moderate binding (ΔG = -5.15 kcal/mol) (Fig. 12, Table 10), potentially stabilizing the tumor suppressor’s DNA-binding function.
