Both increased MC [38] and higher Ki-67 [41] are associated with higher-grade meningiomas, and Ki-67 index was significantly higher in cases with MC ≥ 6 compared to MC < 6 (mean 9.4 vs 7.5, p = 0.001) in our study, suggesting collinearity between the two indices. The gene discussed is MKI67; the disease is meningioma.
