These lymphomas are characterized by their blastoid or Burkitt-like morphology and are further subclassified based on genetic rearrangements involving MYC, BCL2, and/or BCL6. When no defining rearrangements are present, the lymphoma is designated as HGBL, not otherwise specified (HGBL-NOS) [2]. This evidence concerns the gene BCL2 and high grade B-cell lymphoma.
