Regarding uterine mesenchymal tumors, SATB2 expression has been studied in 71 whole‐tumor sections of variable lesions comprising endometrial stromal nodules, low‐grade endometrial stromal sarcomas, leiomyomas, leiomyosarcomas, undifferentiated sarcomas, adenosarcomas, and carcinosarcomas—and in tissue microarrays of 78 more tumors—using a cutoff value of 10% [10]. The gene discussed is SATB2; the disease is endometrioid stromal sarcoma.
