This suggests that using dezocine and dexmedetomidine as adjuvants to ropivacaine in subcutaneous incisional anesthesia may facilitate wound healing in diabetic rats by mitigating pain stress, regulating inflammatory cytokine expression, preventing insulin resistance (IR), and inhibiting excessive inflammatory responses through the PI3Kγ/Akt signaling pathway. Here, AKT1 is linked to Insulin resistance.
