This study identifies METTL14 silencing in NPC cells that markedly upregulates IFN‐associated genes, including IL16, IFI16, IFIH1, IRF5, IRS1, PAMA2, PSMA3, and SOCS2, representing a novel regulatory mechanism distinct from other known physiological or pathological conditions. The gene discussed is IL16; the disease is nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
