Altogether, these data demonstrated that TRIM25, functioning as an E3 ubiquitin ligase, decreased the stability of BRD7 protein through the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway, and inhibited the negative regulation of BRD7 on YB1/Bcl-2 transcriptional axis activity, thus promoting malignant progression and paclitaxel resistance of breast cancer. The gene discussed is BRD7; the disease is breast carcinoma.
