RAD51C and breast carcinoma: Consequently, the majority of these women have not been tested for the whole CHEK2 gene, a procedure which was implemented in 2018/2019, or any of the other breast cancer-associated genes that are usually tested nowadays (ATM, BARD1, PALB2, RAD51C and RAD51C). Some of the patients might still turn out to have a pathogenic variant in one of breast cancer associated genes which were more recently added to the breast cancer panel.
