The cohort was composed of the following tumor subtypes: GH-secreting (acromegaly; n = 164, 82.8%), ACTH-secreting (Cushing’s disease; n = 7, 3.5%), TSH-secreting (n = 4, 2.0%), gonadotropin-secreting (n = 3, 1.5%), mixed-secreting (n = 4, 2.0%), and non-functional PitNETs (n = 16, 8.1%).
