Specifically, APS inhibits the cisplatin resistance pathway and regulates the cell cycle by suppressing the Wnt/β-catenin pathway via the PPARD/CDC20 axis (Liu et al., 2025); APS also influences autophagy and upregulates γH2AX expression, thereby enhancing cervical cancer sensitivity to radiotherapy (Zhai et al., 2018; Liu et al., 2024).
