The pooled analysis revealed that compared with the control group not receiving APS, the treatment group receiving APS significantly increased the CD3+ T lymphocyte ratio (MD = 14.51, 95% CI: 1.64–27.39, p = 0.03; heterogeneity: χ2 = 245.98, p < 0.00001, I2 = 99%), the CD4+ T lymphocyte ratio (MD = 4.87, 95% CI: 1.79–7.96, p = 0.002; heterogeneity: χ2 = 57.04, p < 0.00001, I2 = 95%), and the CD4+/CD8+ ratio (MD = 0.25, 95% CI: 0.17–0.33, p < 0.00001; heterogeneity: χ2 = 240.23, p < 0.00001, I2 = 99%). The gene discussed is CD4; the disease is autoimmune polyendocrinopathy.
