CRP and Decreased total leukocyte count: A statistically significant association was observed in the univariable analysis between fever, loss of appetite, dyspnoea, fever persisting ≥ 4 days, comorbid chronic conditions, auscultatory abnormalities, elevated CRP, leukopenia, and leucocytosis in all three age groups: 0–6 months, 6–24 months, and >24 months in RSV (p < 0.05, χ2).
